Base Salary
$129k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Extend high-scale ingestion pipelines to support new and advanced data objects.
- Build new Core Objects systems and product features across the full stack.
- Own and improve complex backend systems that enable Braze’s product offering.
- Optimize system performance and cost at scale.
- Use agentic AI tools to navigate the Ruby monolith, create proof of concepts, and move safely from requirements to working solutions.
- Contribute as a technical leader in a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Experience as a technical leader.
- Strong understanding of software design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Ability to work independently with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Prior experience working in a team environment.
- Preferred experience with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, Go, SQL, NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and API design, monitoring, or best practices.
- Professional experience building software at scale is preferred.
- Experience with agile processes and a passion for customer experience are preferred.
