Base Salary
$320k - $485k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate dedicated cloud infrastructure, storage, and data pipelines for specialized workloads.
- Design architectures with security, privacy, reliability, scalability, and auditability built in.
- Partner with internal customer teams to translate requirements into technical approaches and realistic timelines.
- Deliver systems against fixed deadlines and support complex legal requests on controlled infrastructure with verifiable chain of custody.
- Extend existing infrastructure to support new workflows and legal requests.
- Clarify requirements with nontechnical stakeholders through responsive communication.
Requirements
- Experience designing, building, and operating highly trusted production infrastructure and data systems, including owning architectural decisions.
- Experience working across large, complex, multi-team environments and codebases not directly owned.
- Ability to secure AWS and/or GCP cloud accounts end to end, including networking, storage, identity, encryption, and least-privilege provisioning.
- Ability to translate legal and privacy requirements into technical designs and implementations.
- Clear communication with nontechnical stakeholders and ability to work independently in a high-change environment.
- Preferred: software engineering experience focused on infrastructure, data, privacy, and/or security.
- Preferred: proficiency with large-scale data tooling, distributed processing, lakehouse table formats, and/or query engines.
- Preferred: understanding of data processing pipelines, LLM training, provenance, and lineage.
- Preferred: experience with secure enclaves, confidential computing, clean rooms, or other sensitive-data environments.
- Preferred: background in eDiscovery, litigation support, or records retention at scale.

- Annual base salary range of $320,000—$485,000 USD.
- Visa sponsorship is offered with reasonable efforts to obtain a visa if an offer is made, though sponsorship is not successful for every role or candidate.
