Base Salary

$105k - $126k/yr

Responsibilities

Act as the Fastly architect for assigned customers, representing their needs within the company.
Develop technical relationships to understand customer infrastructure and challenges.
Implement Fastly products and document customer configurations for troubleshooting.
Recommend improvements to customer implementations of Fastly's technology.
Identify opportunities to introduce new Fastly products that meet customer needs.
Collaborate internally to create customer strategies and assist with support requests.
Participate in customer meetings, including cadence calls and Quarterly Business Reviews.
Track and report on the health of customer accounts to leadership.

5+ years of experience in Pre-Sales or Post-Sales roles such as Sales Engineering or Technical Account Management.
Hands-on experience in resolving customer issues and requests.
Understanding of networking concepts including BGP and internet routing.
Familiarity with HTTP/s, TCP, TLS, DNS, and load balancing technologies.
Experience with Linux and scripting languages like Python and Ruby.
Knowledge of cloud architectures and environments such as AWS and Azure.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to present technical concepts to diverse business stakeholders.
Willingness to travel for customer meetings as necessary.
