Base Salary
$200k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build foundational architecture for Retell's platform, including prompt orchestration and telephony integrations.
- Design scalable backend systems and DevOps workflows for reliable performance.
- Lead complex projects from architecture to production, ensuring timely delivery.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to create intuitive APIs for customer onboarding.
- Support customer onboarding, troubleshoot issues, and implement product improvements based on feedback.
Requirements
- 2+ years of backend development experience with a strong foundation in CS fundamentals.
- Experience with scalable, high-performance backend systems, particularly involving concurrency and distributed components.
- Ability to take ownership and build fast, reliable, and correct core systems.
- Comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with a quick learning curve.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Startup experience or the ability to operate in a high-velocity environment is preferred.
