Responsibilities
- Act as a hands-on technical leader and role model while driving delivery of organizational engineering goals.
- Own and shape scalable, secure, and maintainable Product Ecosystem architecture.
- Translate enterprise architecture strategy into tactical technical plans and practical technical direction.
- Oversee technical delivery across teams and guide Lead and Senior Software Engineers, including supporting their development plans.
- Design solution architectures with Enterprise Architects and engineers across backend and frontend projects.
- Review technical designs and decisions, facilitate collaboration, and provide constructive architectural feedback.
- Establish engineering practices and guardrails covering quality, AI-assisted delivery, security, and maintainability.
- Guide Agile at Scale, Lean, CI/CD, TDD, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, and continuous improvement practices.
- Build cloud-based data and analytics platforms and Agentic AI solutions for real business use cases with appropriate governance and lifecycle management.
- Research new technologies and contribute to engineering strategy and thought leadership.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Romanian and English.
- Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Engineer working across multiple products and readiness to operate at Architect level.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders in cross-functional environments.
- A track record of delivering software across a broad range of languages, technologies, and platforms.
- Leadership, collaboration, coaching, and mentoring skills with a focus on career development.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, Agile at Scale, Lean, continuous delivery, CI, TDD, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, DevOps, and quality gates.
- Experience with security-driven design, SAST/DAST remediation, SDLC practices, and tools such as Confluence, Jira, Azure DevOps, and GitHub or equivalents.
- Experience designing and deploying applications on AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience architecting data and analytics platforms involving data warehousing, data engineering and orchestration, streaming, BI and reporting, and integration platforms.
- Strong understanding of data warehouses, data lakes/lakehouses, ETL/ELT, streaming, semantic modeling, and BI architecture.
- Practical experience with ML/AI solution architecture, model lifecycle, deployment patterns, governance, and Agentic AI solutions.
- Broad programming experience with in-depth skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#.
- Experience with Angular, .NET, Less/Sass, gRPC, unit testing, integration testing, Docker, Kubernetes, ORM frameworks, MSSQL with T-SQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous integration, system and application design, and application security.
- Middleware experience with RabbitMQ and MassTransit is desirable.
