Base Salary
$168k - $311k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop EDA/ECAD tools supporting PCB electrical design, physical layout, and signal-integrity capabilities.
- Assess requirements from the design community and build solutions that improve internal tools and processes.
- Support sophisticated system implementations using Cadence System Capture and SPB Allegro Layout.
- Participate as a member of a collaborative, multifunctional EDA software development team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years of CAD/PCB tools experience.
- Proven experience delivering EDA/ECAD solutions using Cadence System Capture and SPB Allegro Layout.
- Experience with system design and hierarchical sub-design.
- Familiarity with automation in Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB databases.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Preferred experience with the Cadence System Capture TCL API, Cadence SKILL, or other CAD-level programming.
- Preferred experience with JIRA, Confluence, Git, CI, and Perforce.
- Knowledge or experience with PLM systems and JavaScript, TypeScript, or NodeJS.
