Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of manufacturing test systems, procedures, plans, cases, and scripts.
- Develop, validate, release, and maintain automated test software for hardware components and devices.
- Control test equipment, collect and analyze large datasets, and generate detailed test reports.
- Support and maintain L10 manufacturing server and L11 rack-level test software and infrastructure at global production facilities.
- Standardize and maintain documentation for test procedures, specifications, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with test, manufacturing, and failure analysis engineers to align testing requirements and quality standards.
- Drive adoption of advanced testing technologies and industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or master's degree with 5+ years of experience, in engineering, computer science, IT, or a related field.
- Expertise in Python, Linux, and Bash scripting.
- Experience with hardware validation, automation, and tools including IPMI, Redfish, FIO, Linpack, mprime, and memtester.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise networking technologies including BGP, DHCP Relay, ECMP, and data center switching and routing.
- Experience with VMware, virtualization infrastructure, PXE boot, DHCP, NGINX, and SDN technologies.
- Knowledge of software development practices including GitLab, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes.
- Experience with or interest in AI-enabled software development and system automation.
- Strong troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration, and manufacturing test automation experience are preferred.
