Base Salary
$171k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conceive, code, test, and deploy data science and machine learning models at scale.
- Develop and maintain web services that orchestrate machine learning functions for the AI team.
- Discover, access, import, clean, and prepare data for machine learning.
- Create and refine features and build pipelines to train and deploy models.
- Implement, refine, and design machine learning and other algorithms with data scientists.
- Run A/B tests, perform statistical analysis, and evaluate model impact.
- Work cross-functionally with product managers, data scientists, and product engineers.
- Explore emerging technologies and communicate technical results to peers, leaders, and non-technical users.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of Python, Scikit, NLTK, NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, Keras, R, and Spark.
- Understanding of machine learning principles, including training and validation.
- Experience with web services and API design.
- Experience with Scala, Python, or Java and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of SQL and data query and processing tools.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, performance complexity, and computer architecture impacts on software performance.
- Software engineering fundamentals, including Git, version-control workflows, and production-ready coding.
- Experience deploying highly scalable software supporting millions or more users.
- Experience with GPU acceleration using CUDA and cuDNN.
- Experience integrating applications and platforms with AWS or other cloud technologies.
- Strong oral and written communication, meeting, presentation, and technical-explanation skills.
