Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and automate software and infrastructure solutions, including Infrastructure as Code.
- Develop secure, high-quality infrastructure patterns primarily in Red Hat Linux environments.
- Lead adoption and validation of approved AI-assisted engineering practices for coding, code review, testing, refactoring, troubleshooting, and incident analysis.
- Use SDLC tooling and automation capabilities to improve engineering outcomes.
- Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve software and system stability.
- Lead technical evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams, including architectural and technical assessments.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure and system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
- Experience leading responsible use of AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and advanced understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery, application resiliency, Infrastructure as Code, and security.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services technology systems.
- Practical cloud-native experience and hands-on experience implementing and supporting Red Hat Linux environments.
- Preferred experience includes large-scale enterprise technology, platform engineering or internal developer platforms, financial services regulatory frameworks, architecture reviews, technical standards, observability, monitoring, and incident response tooling.
