Base Salary
$97k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, test, and maintain software components for cadence-managed and event-managed program deliverables.
- Lead or perform software integration, troubleshooting, and defect resolution activities.
- Apply secure coding practices aligned with DevSecOps and cybersecurity requirements.
- Use version control and configuration management tools to manage source code, branches, baselines, and releases.
- Collaborate with systems engineering and test teams to implement capabilities, address findings, and validate changes.
- Document software releases, including changes, test results, and known issues, for traceability and compliance.
- Provide technical input for incident reports, maintenance records, and user or operational documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development, integration, and DevSecOps processes, tools, and pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent Department of War/Military training and experience.
- 4–6 years of professional software development experience, preferably in a secure or mission-critical environment.
- Strong software design, development, modification, testing, and maintenance skills using modern languages and frameworks.
- Proficiency in software integration, troubleshooting, and secure coding practices.
- Experience documenting software releases and providing technical input for reports and operational documentation.
- Experience with ELMS, RTC, Jira, Confluence, ClearCase, ClearQuest, and SQL or related database tools.
- Active Secret clearance at the time of hire.
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI as required by the program.
- CSSLP or GSEC certification is desired or strongly preferred.
