Base Salary
$126k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data systems and applications in partnership with multiple teams.
- Analyze and design data storage structures and implement reliable, scalable, automated data pipelines.
- Apply data modeling principles and modern data platforms to develop data pipeline solutions.
- Support large-scale data warehousing, analytics, data integration, and business intelligence workflows.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, SLA adherence, testing, and validation.
- Follow healthcare data security, compliance, and organizational policies.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders across all organizational levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of recent data engineering and end-to-end data pipeline automation experience with a bachelor’s degree, or at least 8 years with a master’s degree.
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience with modern data platforms and data warehouse design or architecture is required.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data structures, data modeling, and large-scale data warehousing and analytics projects.
- Programming experience with Python and Java is preferred.
- Experience with AWS technologies, production support, troubleshooting, machine learning toolkits, and data integration tools is required or preferred as stated.
- Experience with healthcare and Epic systems is strongly preferred.
- Experience with orchestration tools, containerization, infrastructure automation, and data modeling is preferred.
- Strong written, oral, interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and technical communication skills are required.
