Base Salary
$225k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate AHEAD’s virtual network infrastructure team.
- Partner with sales representatives to build account strategies and identify appropriate technologies and vendors.
- Design, architect, and consult on network infrastructure and network security solutions for clients.
- Support sales engagements with technical advice, proposals, configurations, presentations, pricing, and business justifications.
- Qualify sales opportunities based on technical requirements, decision processes, and funding.
- Present the design and value of proposed solutions to customers, prospects, and AHEAD management.
- Maintain technical and sales relationships with partners and selected vendors.
- Strategize and execute technical sales calls and mentor entry-level team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Required pre-sales and data center experience.
- Deep understanding of campus wired and wireless technologies, including wireless principles, site surveys, and LAN skills.
- Experience with Cisco technologies, Cisco Nexus, IP routing protocols, core data center networking, network management, and network security.
- Knowledge of Palo Alto or Fortinet network security and SASE concepts.
- Familiarity with VMware or VMware NSX, Arista, F5 or NetScaler, automation, AWS, Azure, cloud connectivity, and network fundamentals.
- Experience serving as a technical lead in a pre-sales campaign.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer-focused skills.
- Ability to work independently, operate under critical conditions, and influence others to achieve results.
- Cisco certifications and strong wireless certifications are highly recommended.
