Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide reliability and infrastructure projects across multiple teams.
- Architect and deploy scalable solutions for Cloud Prem and SaaS customers.
- Drive technical innovation and establish SRE best practices.
- Respond to critical incidents, lead root cause analysis, and implement long-term resolutions.
- Develop automation to streamline operations and reduce manual workload.
- Participate in on-call rotations and ensure incident handoff and documentation.
- Lead compliance-focused infrastructure initiatives and partner with Security teams on cloud control implementation.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to align reliability goals with business objectives.
- Influence technical decisions and adoption of tools, processes, and architectural patterns across teams.
- Provide tier 2/3 technical support for enterprise customers and resolve deployment, configuration, and integration challenges.
- Conduct technical onboarding and advise customers on platform architecture and best practices.
- Create customer-facing documentation, troubleshooting guides, and runbooks.
- Mentor SRE and engineering team members and promote operational excellence.
Requirements
- US citizenship is required because the role requires or may require federal security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Experience leading large-scale, cross-team infrastructure projects from conception through production.
- Experience with SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP Moderate/High compliance frameworks, including infrastructure automation and continuous audit evidence collection.
- At least 5 years of experience with AWS and cloud automation, including VPC, EC2, RDS, EKS, and CloudFormation.
- Expertise with Kubernetes, Helm, Linux, and Terraform.
- Strong experience with GitOps, distributed version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with Prometheus, Grafana, and DataDog.
- Strong Python, Go, and Bash programming or scripting skills.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and reliability patterns.
- Experience with compliance-as-code and automated compliance scanning or remediation.
- Bazel and CueLang experience is a plus.
- Strong technical communication, organizational influence, customer service, autonomy, ownership, and ambiguity-management skills.
