Base Salary
$143k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Represent a product family in technical governance bodies and improve architecture governance practices.
- Provide technical guidance to business teams, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate sensitive-data handling.
- Evaluate current and emerging technologies and influence adoption of appropriate solutions.
- Drive decisions affecting product design, application functionality, technical operations, and processes.
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
- Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert and advocate for firmwide SDLC frameworks and practices.
- Establish reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across SDLC and toolchain practices with traceability, auditability, resiliency, and security controls.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and deep expertise in software architecture, applications, and technical processes within one or more technical disciplines.
- Experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in architecture and engineering workflows with strong validation habits and data-sensitivity awareness.
- Ability to integrate AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise-grade architectures while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirements.
- Ability to independently solve design and functionality problems with little to no oversight.
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies and recommend solutions for future-state architecture.
- Strong judgment and communication skills to influence technical direction across teams.
- Preferred: experience defining enterprise technology strategy or transformation roadmaps in large financial services or similarly complex organizations.
- Preferred: experience leading AI-enabled transformation, platform modernization, cloud transformation, or enterprise technology evolution initiatives.
- Preferred: understanding of platform engineering, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Policy as Code, and observability.
- Preferred: relevant certifications such as cloud certifications, TOGAF, PMP, CISSP, or equivalent technology leadership credentials.
- Preferred: experience influencing executive stakeholders and driving enterprise-wide strategic change.
- Preferred: experience operating in highly regulated environments while balancing innovation, resilience, risk management, and business objectives.
