Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining applications.
- Write clean, basic code under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Fix simple bugs and support ongoing software projects.
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
- Learn and follow software development best practices.
- Handle sensitive information confidentially and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Requirements
- Completed bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in Computer Science.
- 0–2 years of work experience; this is an entry-level position.
- Basic knowledge of Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Familiarity with databases and basic SQL.
- Must be authorized to work in Colombia for any employer.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, confidentiality, attention-to-detail, and learning skills.
- Knowledge of Git or another version control tool is preferred.
- Exposure to web development or APIs is preferred.
