Base Salary
$165k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver software and firmware for common processors and microcontrollers.
- Support launch operations.
- Collaborate with peers and customers.
- Bring up and validate devices that communicate with and fly in space.
- Analyze test results and investigate complex bugs.
- Perform hands-on integration and troubleshooting of flight hardware and software systems.
- Support the software lifecycle, including development, testing, and operational support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, math, physics, or another scientific discipline, or 2+ years of professional software-writing experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of software development experience with C++ or C.
- Experience with microcontrollers and strong C++ software engineering fundamentals is preferred.
- Knowledge of computer architecture and networks, familiarity with NXP microcontrollers, and understanding of verification methodologies are preferred.
- Linux and Bash shell scripting experience is preferred.
- Must be available to work extended hours and weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines.
- Applicants must satisfy applicable ITAR authorization requirements.
