Responsibilities
- Develop Agent-Based, Discrete Event, and hybrid simulation models for business and operational challenges.
- Translate client requirements and business processes into simulation solutions and experimental scenarios.
- Perform model verification, validation, calibration, sensitivity analysis, and optimization.
- Analyze simulation outputs and provide actionable insights to business and project stakeholders.
- Design agent behaviors, decision logic, interaction mechanisms, and simulation architectures.
- Integrate simulation models with enterprise applications, databases, IoT data streams, and Digital Twin ecosystems.
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, AI, and business teams to deliver simulation and Digital Twin solutions.
- Create reusable simulation assets, technical documentation, and knowledge management artifacts.
- Apply engineering standards and quality assurance practices throughout solution delivery.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience is required.
- At least 7 years of experience in Discrete Event Simulation is required.
- Experience developing Agent-Based Simulation, Discrete Event Simulation, and hybrid simulation models is required.
- Experience with simulation platforms such as AnyLogic, Mesa, GAMA, NetLogo, Technomatix Plant Simulation, Flexism, Simio, Simul8, ExtendSim, or Automod.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, SQL, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with model verification, validation, calibration, sensitivity analysis, and optimization.
- Experience integrating simulations with enterprise applications, databases, IoT data streams, and Digital Twin ecosystems.
- Knowledge of Operations Research, Machine Learning techniques, and data analytics methodologies.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Azure or AWS cloud platforms, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Power BI is expected.
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Exposure to Digital Twins, AI/ML integration, Operations Research, and emerging simulation technologies is expected.
