Base Salary
$102k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, support, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application delivery.
- Standardize build, release, deployment, environment, and configuration management processes.
- Establish auditable and traceable release governance practices across development, test, non-production, and production environments.
- Manage Git-based source control, branching strategies, and release workflows.
- Integrate automated testing, quality gates, security controls, and compliance checks into deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Enhance deployment automation, monitoring, and observability to identify and mitigate release risks.
- Lead the transition from manual release activities to automated deployment solutions and support Release Engineering competency development.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Build Engineering, Release Management, Software Engineering, or related technical roles.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting enterprise software deployment processes.
- At least 2 years of experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, plus Git source control.
- Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
- Experience with application deployment automation, cloud technologies, monitoring and observability, and infrastructure automation or configuration management tools.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in healthcare or regulated environments, DevOps, Cloud, or SRE certifications, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, ServiceNow Change and Release processes, and ITIL Foundation certification.
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
