Base Salary
$82k - $91k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle.
- Assist the Product Owner in reviewing and translating customer requirements into initial software designs.
- Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize software products and system integrations.
- Support the development and maintenance of software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs.
- Debug and resolve software issues to improve product reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support the improvement of software processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- At least 3 years of software development experience with languages such as TypeScript, C#, and/or C++.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance and meet U.S. citizenship requirements for the clearance.
- Experience with software development lifecycle processes, including Agile methodologies.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and system-level validation in complex software environments.
- Experience with version control and configuration management tools such as Git or SVN.
- Ability to clearly document software designs, interface specifications, and test plans.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant Bachelor of Science degree with 2+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of directly related experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience includes 4+ years with TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, and/or C++; RESTful interfaces; defense, aerospace, or mission-critical software; modular and open systems; standardized interfaces; software architecture; design patterns; cybersecurity principles; and secure coding practices.
