Responsibilities
- Apply classroom-learned engineering skills to software projects supporting defense and national security missions.
- Collaborate with technical teams and customers to develop solutions for high-stakes missions.
- Develop primarily in Java and JavaScript and work in a Linux environment.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Take on increasing responsibilities and work on projects of growing complexity.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related scientific or technical discipline.
- A sophomore-or-higher academic standing is preferred.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript; C++ experience is a plus.
- Demonstrate understanding of engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards.
- Be comfortable developing in a Linux environment.
- Be a U.S. citizen and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at the time of hire.
