Base Salary
$184k - $357k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead incident response and disaster recovery plans for pre-production clusters.
- Harden systems in collaboration with infrastructure, networking, storage, operating system, firmware, and application teams.
- Build and enforce security controls, systems, and policies for cluster infrastructure and new NVIDIA hardware.
- Identify, assess, and reduce cybersecurity risks and communicate major risks to leadership.
- Investigate security incidents and drive root-cause analysis.
- Ensure systems meet IT, legal, regulatory, and information security standards.
- Improve security governance, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Train peers and users on practical security standard methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and experience programming secure computing environments.
- Experience with Linux kernel hardening using SELinux or AppArmor and observability using eBPF.
- Experience securing large-scale Linux infrastructure and compute and networking security architectures.
- Understanding of security risks, incident response, and breach handling.
- Experience securing AI agents with sandboxing technologies and AI-based threat detection such as Mythos.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and leadership audiences.
- Preferred experience developing secure software in Rust and using OAuth 2.1, OIDC, Kerberos, or FIDO2/WebAuthn.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, SCIMv2, FreeIPA, RHEL IdM, SSSD, PKI lifecycle management, and Host-Based Access Control.
- Preferred experience hardening Slurm, Lustre, NFS, Docker, Enroot, Kubernetes, and InfiniBand environments.
- Preferred knowledge of Zero Trust, ZTNA, VRFs, VLANs, performance-optimized firewalls, CVSS 4.0, and SBOM-based supply-chain mitigation.
