Base Salary
$154k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assess biotechnology customers’ IT landscapes and strategic objectives and architect solutions that enable mission-critical outcomes.
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects from discovery through go-live and adoption.
- Provide strategic guidance, best-practice education, and product engagement recommendations to maximize customer value.
- Gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions with internal Engineering, Product, and Solutions Architecture teams.
- Coordinate Professional Services, Product, and Customer Success teams on complex global enterprise deployments.
- Support Sales and Marketing with technical deal strategy and collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex challenges.
- Help develop global enterprise processes, product capabilities, and best-practice frameworks.
Requirements
- 5-10+ years of combined experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry roles and scientific software implementation.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Life Sciences, Information Management, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven experience leading global implementation teams in enterprise solution design and deployment; Benchling experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to empathize with scientists and quickly understand complex scientific concepts and workflows.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and adapt in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, organizational levels, geographies, and diverse stakeholder groups.
- 5+ years of client-facing software implementation or consulting experience and success delivering enterprise-scale SaaS projects is preferred.
- Hands-on experience implementing scientific or informatics platforms such as LIMS, ELN, MES, and LES, plus analytical tools such as JMP, Spotfire, or Tableau is preferred.
