Base Salary
$175k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and tooling for deploying software into operational use.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and maintain multiple CI/CD environments across classification levels.
- Support AWS and other cloud toolsets in unclassified environments.
- Deploy, configure, and monitor Kubernetes clusters and pod configurations.
- Coordinate with corporate IT to keep infrastructure toolsets reliable, maintained, and compliant with Department of Defense standards.
- Monitor developer productivity, application performance, security, and alerting.
- Coach team members on DevOps practices and lead engineering teams supporting customer environments.
- Support software applications deployed on classified operational networks.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. security clearance with SCI eligibility are required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least five years of work experience are required.
- Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipeline automation, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and provisioning tools such as Ansible or Chef.
- Experience with Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, EKS, Rancher, Kubernetes cluster deployment and monitoring, Linux system administration, Python, and Linux Shell.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred qualifications include an active Top Secret clearance, an advanced degree, full web-service stack experience, Jira, ArgoCD, Flux, Terraform, Nexus, Artifactory, SonarQube, Coverity, Agile/Scrum team leadership, and current Security+ certification.
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to San Diego, Denver, Arlington, or Boston.
Benefits
- Flexible hybrid work environment with remote work permitted when facility access is not required.
- Expected to work two to three days per week at STR or U.S. Government facilities, with some work supporting classified operational networks.
- Full-time position with locations near Boston, Arlington, Dayton, Melbourne, and Carlsbad.
