Responsibilities

  • Iterate within an Agile squad to develop shippable increments across the stack.
  • Write idiomatic, reusable Scala code with comprehensive testing.
  • Deliver end-to-end solutions, including backend and frontend components.
  • Operate across the full software development lifecycle, from design to maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Product & Design to translate UX wireframes into functional interfaces.
  • Champion engineering excellence through documentation and mentoring.

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent with strong fundamentals in algorithms and distributed systems.
  • 2+ years of experience building production JVM back-ends with Scala.
  • Proven ability to develop high-performance, concurrent services and APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with modern data and messaging platforms at scale.
  • A growth mindset with curiosity and a drive to learn and teach.
  • Nice to have expertise in cloud services and container orchestration.
  • Nice to have experience with a modern data stack and front-end technologies.
