Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Optimize MongoDB systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Analyze and resolve operational challenges for mission-critical systems and drive continuous improvement.
- Guide the design, implementation, and maintenance of performant data pipelines.
- Collaborate with software engineers and data architects on monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting MongoDB systems.
- Define and implement database backup, recovery, and high-availability practices.
- Lead cross-team discussions on operations, scalability, and architectural improvements for database and data warehouse systems.
- Contribute to system design, implementation, deployment, and optimization across the lifecycle.
- Mentor team members on database and Lakehouse optimization techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in database operations and optimization with hands-on MongoDB expertise.
- Proven success improving performance and scalability in complex database and Lakehouse environments.
- Extensive software development experience using Java, Python, Go, Rust, or other relevant languages.
- At least 3 years of cloud computing experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, focused on database and data-processing workloads.
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role setting direction for database and system optimization projects.
- Hands-on experience with version control tools such as Git, GitLab, or GitHub.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders across global teams.

- Base salary typically starts at $166,800-$223,050 per year, with a full Job Grade range of $166,800-$241,800; the package may also include profit sharing, incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
