Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain an automated UI testing framework for C2BMC User Interface products.
- Develop and enhance Java and Python UI software, including automation, test harnesses, and UI components.
- Create and integrate Sikuli-based automated UI test cases into program workflows.
- Translate legacy code into modern architecture to improve maintainability, performance, and testability.
- Lead UI development and automation efforts by setting technical direction, standards, and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers in UI development, automated testing, and tool usage.
- Use GitLab, Confluence, and JIRA to plan, track, and deliver work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate project status and risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field plus 5 years of experience; or a related master’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience; or 9 years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
- Current, active Government-issued 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher, such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, or CND.
- Current, active in-scope Government-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application; the posting also states Top Secret clearance is required to start.
- Experience designing and executing automated UI tests and developing UI software with Java and Python.
- Experience developing automated UI test cases with Sikuli.
- Strong Java software engineering experience, including design, implementation, debugging, and maintenance.
- Experience with GitLab for source control, CI, and collaboration, plus Confluence and JIRA.
- Experience leading UI development efforts and mentoring junior engineers.
- Preferred experience with Eclipse, Maven, Gradle, ClearCase, Jenkins, NASA WorldWind or similar visualization frameworks, missile defense, and Agile development.
