Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, system engineers, developers, technical leads, customers, and end users to analyze requirements.
- Design, develop, and deliver software solutions focused on system quality.
- Develop application software.
- Generate automated tests to verify system functionality.
- Participate in testing to assess system accuracy and performance.
- Support formal testing at component, subsystem, and enterprise-system levels.
- Design and develop a pipeline testing framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus seven years of directly related experience; 13 years of related work experience may substitute for the degree.
- Active DOE Q clearance at start or DOD Top Secret clearance with reciprocity, and the ability to obtain an SCI clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Strong experience with Python or other object-oriented languages such as C, C++, or Java, with the ability to learn Python.
- Experience with automated and manual software testing.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash and UNIX command languages.
- Experience working in collaborative classified and unclassified environments.
- Experience with databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is desired.
- Experience with cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, Docker, large-scale codebases, and Agile software development practices is desired.
