Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, maintain, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Build scalable data-processing pipelines using PySpark and optimize jobs for performance and resource utilization.
- Integrate PySpark applications with data-storage systems and debug complex data-processing workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Document development processes and code changes for knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Work independently as a subject matter expert, contribute to team discussions, and provide guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years using PySpark.
- Proficiency in PySpark and experience developing scalable data-processing pipelines.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing concepts and big data frameworks.
- Ability to optimize PySpark jobs for performance and resource utilization.
- Familiarity with integrating PySpark applications with various data-storage systems.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex data-processing workflows.
- 15 years of full-time education.
