Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls across cloud infrastructure, platform services, and AI integrations.
- Lead vulnerability management, threat modeling, incident response, penetration testing, and proactive security assessments.
- Define and execute the company’s long-term security roadmap in partnership with engineering and executive leadership.
- Integrate SAST/DAST, AI-driven compliance checks, secret detection, and vulnerability gates into CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
- Oversee IAM, secrets management, encryption, zero-trust architecture, Kubernetes hardening, runtime security, container scanning, and network policy enforcement.
- Evaluate and deploy AI security tools, defensive solutions, SIEM monitoring, security logging, threat intelligence, and automated response capabilities.
- Conduct threat modeling workshops and coach engineering teams on secure coding and infrastructure practices.
- Partner with product, infrastructure, data, and QE teams to integrate security throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in cloud and application security, threat modeling, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, IAM, secrets management, AI security, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong working knowledge of AWS security controls and services including IAM, KMS, EKS, RDS, and S3.
- Experience hardening Kubernetes clusters and implementing runtime security, container scanning, and network policy enforcement.
- Proficiency integrating SAST/DAST and security automation into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Solid scripting or programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash for security tooling and automated remediation.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, security logging, automated threat intelligence, and AI-powered monitoring frameworks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Loki.
- Demonstrated leadership in driving security initiatives, defining policy, and guiding engineering teams on security risk.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance security requirements and business agility.
