Base Salary
$220k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead complex, multi-team engineering initiatives from concept through production.
- Set technical direction by influencing architecture, system design, and engineering best practices.
- Use and guide adoption of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and Cursor.
- Define and uphold standards for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Partner with product, design, and quality teams to define technical requirements and shape product development.
- Drive improvements in platform reliability, performance, and engineering efficiency.
- Mentor senior and early-career engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and pairing.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including full-stack development.
- Expertise building scalable web application back ends with Ruby on Rails, Flask, Node, or similar technologies.
- Advanced front-end experience with React, Angular, Vue, or similar technologies.
- Production experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code, including driving adoption and productivity improvements across an engineering team.
- Experience leading complex initiatives across teams from concept through production.
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing architectural decisions.
- Preferred experience integrating LLM APIs, building AI workflows, working with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, or cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Background in high-growth SaaS and interest in commercial real estate or fintech are preferred.
