Responsibilities

Develop Java backend systems for customer projects.
Design, develop, and implement APIs and web services.
Integrate backend systems with frontend systems and databases.
Monitor backend system performance and scalability.
Analyze customer requirements and translate them into backend systems.
Document developed systems and ensure development standards and guidelines are followed.
Contribute to technical concepts and create system architecture.
Use automated testing to ensure application quality.

Academic degree in computer science, statistics, or data science, or several years of practical experience working with Java backend systems.
Strong knowledge of backend development frameworks, tools, and technologies.
Knowledge of API and web service development.
Database knowledge and experience with ORM frameworks.
Experience integrating backend systems with frontend systems.
Analytical thinking and ability to contribute to technical concepts and architecture.
Very good German and good English language skills.
