Sr. Software Engineer – AI Operators

- Design and develop AI operator modules and kernels for custom ISA-based edge AI processors.
- Implement, optimize, and maintain high-performance kernel-level code in C/C++ and assembly when needed.
- Analyze AI operator mathematics and develop efficient hardware implementations.
- Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and latency through profiling, debugging, testing, and iterative optimization.
- Use GDB, Gprof, trace analyzers, or equivalent tools to diagnose performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with hardware architects, compiler teams, and application developers on kernel integration.
- Evaluate emerging AI operator development methods and specialized ISA optimizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical/computer engineering, or a related field; a Ph.D. is a strong plus.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in kernel or low-level systems software development.
- Experience with AI/ML operator development or specialized compiler optimizations.
- Exposure to hardware/software co-design and AI hardware acceleration.
- Deep knowledge of operating system internals, memory management, process scheduling, and performance tuning.
- Expertise in system-level programming with C/C++ and proficiency in assembly language for specialized ISA implementations.
- Familiarity with kernel debugging and profiling tools such as GDB, Gprof, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated success optimizing software performance in complex, high-performance computing environments.
