Responsibilities

  • Deliver verification and testing tools for validation campaigns.
  • Set up and configure verification and test environments, including MIL subsystems and HIL test benches.
  • Develop and deliver TCMS verification and test procedures for assigned functions and subsystems.
  • Perform verification and testing on test benches and trains.
  • Produce verification and test reports and coverage matrices.
  • Manage configuration of verification and test deliverables in the configuration database.
  • Maintain validation status for change requests and manage non-conforming test results related to change requests.

Requirements

  • Experience with train validation.
  • Practical knowledge of validation methods, including boundary tests and equivalent class tests.
  • Practical knowledge of validation tools such as TestStand and model-based testing tools.
  • Practical knowledge of test benches and simulators.
  • Practical experience with model-based software development tools such as Matlab, Simulink, and Control Build in railway applications.
  • Knowledge of MVB, WTB, and TRDP network protocols.
  • Knowledge of train electrical schematics.
  • Experience with testing and commissioning and customer technical interface experience are a plus.
  • Ability to think outside the box.
