Responsibilities
- Design, build, and promote automated solutions that improve application, service, and platform uptime.
- Maintain business-critical systems deployed on OCI and GCP and provide on-call support as required.
- Enhance infrastructure, tooling, and operational processes to provide self-service capabilities for engineering teams.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, security teams, and operations engineers on reliable solutions.
- Improve infrastructure and operational processes to reduce toil, accelerate delivery, and increase efficiency.
- Monitor availability, system health, performance, and operational reliability while supporting incident and problem management.
Requirements
- Require 1–3 years of experience working as a Site Reliability Engineer.
- Require understanding of OCI and GCP cloud concepts, including compute, storage, networks, databases, and Kubernetes.
- Require hands-on experience deploying cloud resources with Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Require understanding of operating system concepts and troubleshooting exposure across Oracle Linux, SUSE, Rocky Linux, and Windows.
- Require experience or familiarity with Grafana and Prometheus for cloud observability, monitoring, and alerting.
- Require understanding of database concepts and exposure to Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL deployments and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Oracle 19c, RAC, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and GoldenGate is an asset.
- Require understanding of SRE principles, CI/CD, version control, infrastructure as code, automated deployment, incident management, root-cause analysis, problem management, and production support.
- Require understanding of Generative AI and LLM concepts, including prompts, tokens, context windows, model responses, AI-assisted automation, data privacy, security, accuracy, and responsible AI use.
