Responsibilities

  • Work hands-on engineering projects that impact the business.
  • Develop engineering skills and learn banking technology engineering practices.
  • Participate in training, mentorship, executive exposure, and cohort development activities.
  • Contribute to software development or infrastructure engineering work, including construction, automation, debugging, and implementation.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar major with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or spring 2028.
  • Demonstrate understanding of engineering concepts through relevant coursework or projects in computer science, software design, cloud computing, or user experience.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python or Java.
  • Be able to start the internship on June 7, 2027.
  • Be able to work in person at the U.S. Bank location in Hopkins, Minnesota.
  • Preferred: collaboration across multiple teams, extracurricular leadership, analytics, root cause analysis, creative thinking, and flexibility in multidisciplinary teams.
