Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve Linux operating-system software for bare-metal and third-party cloud servers.
- Build and operate large-scale, fault-tolerant systems supporting critical internal and external services.
- Troubleshoot system software and operating-system components, including storage, networking, and compute engines.
- Optimize automated operating-system monitoring, software deployment, and upgrade systems.
- Adapt system software to support CPU, GPU, networking, and storage hardware platforms.
- Optimize AIOps tools for managing large-scale server clusters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multithreaded programming, and server performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of Linux operating-system concepts and IT infrastructure.
- Proficiency with Linux shell commands and scripting.
- Experience with C or C++, plus proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, or CUDA.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Linux operating-system development, distribution building, or related areas.
- Preferred: familiarity with computer architecture and the server development lifecycle.
- Preferred: in-depth understanding of Linux/Unix architecture, Linux Kernel mechanisms and programming, system, glibc, and Kubernetes.
