Responsibilities
- Contribute to the central AWS CDK project in TypeScript and define cloud resources, including S3 buckets and networking rules, as code.
- Consult with R&D and platform teams on deploying services and creating sandbox environments while maintaining security standards.
- Own high-impact infrastructure initiatives, including the migration from ECS Fargate to EKS.
- Manage and maintain infrastructure components, security and observability agents, and hosted open-source solutions.
- Collaborate with Boston-based teams on global projects, architectural alignment, and cross-region infrastructure support.
- Participate in internal help channels, troubleshoot real-time issues, and resolve conflicts in central tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of DevOps or software engineering experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- 3+ years of experience managing Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Understanding of cloud networking concepts including VPC peering, subnetting, load balancing, and DNS.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes components and maintenance routines such as upgrades, scaling, and node patching.
- Knowledge of AWS best practices for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure.
- Hands-on coding or scripting experience with TypeScript, Python, Golang, and Linux Bash.
- Experience with microservices, Git, and CI/CD, preferably GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
- Experience maintaining highly available and secure infrastructure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew.
- Experience setting up Kubernetes clusters from scratch, with Helm, service mesh technologies such as Istio, observability platforms, Kubernetes Operators, or Crossplane preferred.
