Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance algorithms for enterprise storage products with zero-downtime and six-nines availability goals.
- Extend core storage platform capabilities into public cloud environments such as AWS.
- Analyze and resolve complex systems software challenges while optimizing storage internals.
- Deliver software from concept through release and contribute to ongoing platform upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams, review code, refine architecture, and maintain engineering standards across distributed software projects.
- Mentor multidisciplinary engineering peers.
Requirements
- Hands-on proficiency in systems programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Go, or Java.
- Practical exposure to systems domains such as distributed systems, Linux kernel internals, database engines, hypervisors, containers, or compiler optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable software solutions in a collaborative environment.
