Responsibilities
- Develop full stack features across APIs, web applications, data layers, and third-party integrations.
- Design, build, deploy, monitor, and improve secure, scalable, performant, and maintainable solutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the technical direction of product-aligned squads.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, Business, mobile, and web engineering colleagues to turn customer problems into technical solutions.
- Own code and services throughout development, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvement.
- Contribute to automated testing, engineering standards, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial experience developing web applications and APIs.
- Strong experience with some combination of Node.js, TypeScript, React, PHP, .NET Core, MongoDB, and SQL.
- Experience developing HTTP-based APIs, RESTful services, and GraphQL.
- Experience with Jenkins and/or AWS CodePipeline and a thorough understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Test Driven Development and automated testing frameworks and practices.
- Familiarity with Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes and experience deploying and maintaining cloud-based solutions on AWS.
- Strong web development fundamentals, including understanding high-performing web pages and applications.
- Experience collaborating with Product and business stakeholders in cross-functional teams, with clear technical communication and a continuous improvement mindset.
