Responsibilities
- Analyse the current website structure, content, and user journeys.
- Advise on website architecture, information architecture, navigation, and content restructuring.
- Develop and implement front-end enhancements and user-experience improvements.
- Develop interactive elements, dashboards, analytical tools, and data-driven components where appropriate.
- Collaborate with content writers, web architects, designers, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, web governance requirements, and platform constraints.
- Conduct testing and validation, implement refinements, support deployment, and provide maintenance recommendations.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern web standards.
- Experience with at least one back-end language such as PHP or Java, or equivalent enterprise-level technologies.
- Experience with API integrations, web services, enterprise web architectures, and content management systems.
- Practical experience with Drupal or a comparable enterprise content management platform.
- Experience developing within highly regulated or governance-driven environments and large-scale publishing environments.
- Knowledge of website content structuring, information architecture, accessibility standards, and best practices.
- Experience with public-sector or large institutional websites and complex stakeholder-facing digital communication projects is desired.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher is required.
