Base Salary
$99k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to create and implement Operational Flight Program software solutions.
- Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle in an Agile environment.
- Develop real-time embedded solutions using Ada and C/C++.
- Test software and assist with system-level testing to verify functionality.
- Analyze problem reports and troubleshoot software defects.
- Develop models, simulations, support tools, automated development environments, and DevOps practices.
- Manage software configuration and Agile release processes.
- Work directly with United States Air Force and Navy customers.
- Complete the required CodeVue technical assessment and satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience programming in C, C++, or Ada.
- At least 3 years of experience in real-time embedded software development.
- At least 3 years of experience developing software using object-oriented principles.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for the clearance.
- Preferred: 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred Level 2 qualification: a relevant bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of directly related experience, or 10+ years of related experience.
- Preferred Level 3 qualification: a relevant bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of directly related experience, or 13+ years of related experience.
- Preferred: active U.S. Secret clearance, Ada, Python, or C# experience, Git or similar version-control experience, Agile software development experience, and experience developing and tracing software requirements.
