Responsibilities
- Develop Linux software for UK traffic light controllers and supporting tools, primarily in Python.
- Implement, document, test, design, and enhance software applications using C++, Python, and potentially Go.
- Translate UK regulations, market requirements, and customer specifications into functional software requirements.
- Maintain software quality and security standards and contribute to process, tooling, and best-practice improvements.
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders in an international, agile working environment.
- Use Git code management and workflow processes.
Requirements
- A 2:1 or better BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of Linux software development experience.
- Experience working with Git code management and workflow processes.
- Clear and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
