Responsibilities
- Modernize and scale FTSE Russell’s cloud-native, low-latency technology platforms.
- Develop software using Java, Python, C++, C# or similar technologies.
- Work across software engineering, data engineering, cloud and platform engineering, site reliability, AI and machine learning, DevOps, architecture, distributed systems or analytics platforms.
- Apply automation, testing and modern engineering practices while maintaining performance, data quality and reliability.
- Use AI-assisted development tooling to improve engineering productivity.
- Collaborate effectively across global teams.
Requirements
- Experience developing software with Java, Python, C++, C# or similar technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of automation, testing and modern engineering practices.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tooling.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, interest in AI and emerging technologies, and effective collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent practical experience.
