Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cellular network simulation systems.
- Implement 4G/5G protocol functionality and interfaces based on relevant 3GPP releases.
- Develop and debug multiprocessing and multithreaded C/C++ software.
- Apply object-oriented software design, testing, verification, and automation techniques.
- Validate embedded software and hardware using system simulators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and JTAG debuggers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop wireless products.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree and at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong understanding of cellular protocol stacks, particularly 5G.
- Knowledge of 6G, 5G NR, 4G LTE, and PHY downlink/uplink channels and signals.
- Software development and debugging experience in C/C++.
- Experience with multiprocessing and multithreading implementations.
- Understanding of object-oriented software design and software testing techniques.
- Deep understanding of cellular uplink procedures including RACH, Scheduling Request, SRS, CSI, and antenna selection algorithms.
- Working knowledge of computer architecture and hardware/software interfaces for high-speed communication subsystems.
- Experience with silicon prototyping, emulation systems, or virtual platforms.
- Experience with software verification, hardware validation, scripting, automation frameworks, and embedded software debugging.
