Responsibilities
- Configure and customize ServiceNow systems, including workflows, service requests, request items, tasks, UI actions, client scripts, and business rules.
- Build service request fulfillment workflows from customer and business requirements.
- Use scripting and ServiceNow functionality to automate repetitive tasks and processes.
- Perform integrations and process automation using Orchestration, web services, SOAP calls, and related technologies.
- Gather business specifications and deliver products and releases that meet stated requirements.
- Interpret business and functional requirements and create technical specification documentation.
- Load, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems.
- Create dashboards, home pages, performance analytics data collectors, and reports.
- Analyze user stories and internal procedures to improve system capabilities, automate workflows, and address scheduling limitations.
- Perform system and integration testing using sample and live data.
Requirements
- College degree in a related technology field such as Computer, Engineering, or Science, or comparable job experience.
- Approximately 3–7 years of experience in a development role.
- Demonstrated progression toward increasingly complex job responsibilities.
- Mandatory ServiceNow CSA certification plus any CIS certification.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, AngularJS, web design practices, and ServiceNow implementation.
- Experience with ServiceNow applications or capabilities such as ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, SecOps, IRM, ITSM, Flow Designer, HAM, SAM, Integration, ITAM, ServiceNow Portal, UI Builder, and Performance Analytics.
- Knowledge of authentication protocols and technologies such as Active Directory, LDAP, SiteMinder federation, and Azure.
- ITIL Foundations certification is a plus.
- Experience with SDLC, TFS, JIRA, or an equivalent tool is desirable.
- Knowledge of features in the latest ServiceNow version is desirable.
- Knowledge of digital technologies including machine learning, AI, IoT, and blockchain is desirable.
