Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain cloud-based applications for machine connectivity and control.
- Develop and maintain applications that manage data consumption and egress within cloud infrastructure.
- Evaluate IoT products and practices and propose software system designs and solutions.
- Plan and implement improvements and changes to existing architectures and applications.
- Coordinate system development and execution in a team environment.
- Provide technical direction and counsel to lower-level developers and software engineers.
- Research and propose new software and technologies for product and feature development.
- Prepare technical solution design proposals and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 8 or more years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot or Quarkus, and Contexts and Dependency Injection in Java.
- Experience with a major cloud platform, SQL and NoSQL databases, CI/CD tools, test automation, DevOps tools and principles, and Agile development tools.
- Preferred experience with C#, Python, JavaScript, Go, web applications handling complex big data, Azure Data Explorer, Log Analytics, Kusto Query Language, IoT architectures, microservices, scalability, cybersecurity and SecOps principles, MQTT, and other IoT messaging systems.
- Strong oral and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, and ambiguity-management skills, with experience in automotive or heavy-duty construction or industrial equipment preferred.
