Base Salary
$198k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, test, integrate, and deploy AMD RAID solutions.
- Develop Windows drivers and Linux and UEFI drivers for AMD RAID products.
- Develop GUI and CLI user applications for AMD RAID products.
- Develop systems software and tools supporting operating systems, infrastructure, technology platforms, and semiconductor products.
- Troubleshoot and debug PC systems, provide root-cause analysis guidance, and lead debug efforts.
- Improve debugging capabilities, tools, and methodologies by identifying recurring challenges and driving innovation.
- Determine hardware compatibility and influence hardware design.
- Collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal design teams across cultures.
- Provide guidance to upcoming developers and contribute to long-range technical strategy.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Five years of experience in the offered role or a closely related engineering role.
- Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a related field plus seven years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
- Five years of experience developing Windows drivers for AMD RAID products and designing, developing, integrating, testing, and deploying AMD RAID solutions.
- Five years of experience developing Linux and UEFI drivers and GUI/CLI user applications for AMD RAID products.
- Programming experience in C and C++ for operating-system kernel and systems development.
- Experience with x86, CVS and Git source control, or Windows Architecture.
- Experience with Windows device-driver development and debugging, WDF, WDM, and NVMe protocols.
- Experience with Python, shell scripting, or BIOS.
