Base Salary
$106k - $177k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure.
- Lead cloud migration and modernization efforts for mission-critical SaaS applications.
- Partner with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to improve platform performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Provide architectural guidance for Java-based applications, containerized workloads, and large-scale database environments.
- Evaluate cloud technologies, automation strategies, and architectural best practices.
- Support customer-facing technical discussions and complex issue resolution.
- Establish and promote cloud governance, security, compliance, identity management, disaster recovery, and high-availability standards.
- Contribute to AI-enabled tools and capabilities that improve engineering productivity and innovation.
Requirements
- A degree or equivalent and typically 4+ years of relevant experience.
- At least 4 years of experience designing, building, and implementing software business solutions on cloud platforms.
- Experience with cloud architecture, service-oriented architecture, loosely coupled designs, composite applications, and cloud non-functional requirements.
- Experience in a customer-facing technical consultancy setting and the ability to document technical and procedural information.
- Experience architecting Azure solutions using AKS, Function Apps, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, and related services.
- Strong experience with Java applications and enterprise architecture principles.
- Experience with Oracle and large-scale database-driven applications.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, Linux/Unix administration, scripting, and cloud operations.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or Azure Monitor.
- Understanding of information security, risk management, disaster recovery, PHI, HIPAA, PCI, and system access control policies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical audiences, including customers.
- Preferred qualifications include healthcare or regulated-environment experience, enterprise cloud migration leadership, AI-enabled development or operations experience, Azure or other cloud architecture certifications, large-scale SaaS experience, and experience managing large-scale systems or operations projects.
