Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java components.
Implement Java components using the internal framework.
Develop new features for the internal Java framework.
Ensure component performance, scalability, and security.
Stay current with Java technologies and development best practices.
Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
Take end-to-end responsibility for assigned components from design through DevOps.

Be an enrolled student at a Slovak university with student status and availability to work 20 hours per week.
Have basic Java development skills, preferably with Spring Boot.
Have basic Python development skills.
Have basic prompt engineering skills and an interest in AI-assisted software development.
Understand fundamental algorithms and data structures, including BFS, DFS, queues, stacks, trees, and graphs.
Have basic knowledge of REST APIs and service integration concepts.
Have basic debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Be familiar with Git and collaborative software development practices.
Have an interest in programming language tooling, parsers, grammars, and code transformation.
Familiarity with ANTLR4, lexers, parsers, or abstract syntax trees is a plus.
Be fluent in English.

Part-time internship position at 20 hours per week.
