Responsibilities
- Own embedded software verification across the lifecycle, including requirements analysis, verification planning, test design, execution, reporting, and defect analysis.
- Establish and maintain reusable test frameworks for pre-silicon and post-silicon unit, integration, software testing, and validation environments.
- Continuously improve verification methods, tools, infrastructure, automation, efficiency, testability, and software quality.
- Verify security-relevant software, including secure communication, cryptographic services, key handling, protected storage, and robustness against manipulated inputs.
- Support software integration, debugging, and issue analysis on target hardware and in simulation environments.
- Contribute to embedded software requirements, architecture, design, implementation, and verification using a generalist engineering approach.
- Develop low-level driver software for microcontroller-based automotive products.
- Align development processes and evidence with Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, and ISO/SAE 21434.
Requirements
- Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in embedded software verification and a solid understanding of the V-model.
- Hands-on experience with equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, requirements-based testing, and structural coverage analysis.
- Proficiency in embedded C and experience with compilers, debuggers, coverage tools, static analysis, and simulation environments.
- Knowledge of ARM/RISC-V, multi-core embedded systems, and low-level hardware debugging.
- Practical knowledge of embedded communication protocols, secure communication, cryptography, key management, and hardware security concepts.
- Experience in functional safety and cybersecurity for automotive products, including ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 compliance at software level.
- Strong analytical and self-organization skills; experience applying AI in engineering workflows is a plus.
- Fluent English communication skills.
